Swift Current’s Gaige Calkins won a pair of medals at the SHSAA Golf Provincial Championship in Estevan over the weekend.
He won bronze in the individual competition with rounds of 82 and 73 to finish behind the South East’s Chase Gedak (74-69-143) and Jayden Dudas (80-74-154).

Eastend’s Rylan Egland tied for 21st with rounds of 85 and 88. Fox Valley’s Kaden Gramlich followed in 27th with scores of 91 and 86. Ponteix’s Landyn Lacher placed 45th with a 103 and a 96.
The Southwest foursome won bronze in the male team event with a combined scored of 491 over two rounds to finish behind South East (436) and North Central (485).
Eastend’s Madison Gleim was the lone Southwest golfer in the female competition. She placed 30th after shooting a 149 on day one and a 136 on day two.
