The Redneck Betties roller derby team will be making their home debut this weekend.
The Southwest Saskatchewan Roller Derby Association will be hosting a pair of bouts during ‘Skate the Rainbow’ on Saturday in the Innovation Credit Union iplex curling rink. The Ra Ra Riots will open the day at 4:30 p.m. against the Gas City Pilot Lights.
The Redneck Betties will follow at 7 p.m. against the Gas City Regulators.
Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for youth and are available from any of the derby girls.
The SWSDRA also has events scheduled in Swift Current for May 4, June 22 and September 14.
