The Swift Current Female Midget AA Broncos edged the rival Parkland Fire 3-2 in their only Saskatchewan Female Midget AA Hockey League game of the week.
Swift Current scored twice on the power play, including the eventual game winning goal off the stick of Taylor Kohls.
Alex Chapman and Rio Runcie also scored for the Broncos. Autumn Nimegeers, Paris Appel, Kayla Keith and Chapman all collected assists.
Allison Wall earned the win in goal and the Broncos improved to 4-11-0 on the season.
The Broncos are back at home on Saturday to host the Notre Dame Hounds at 7:45 p.m. at Fairview West Arena.
