Swift Current’s Dylan Mortensen capped an incredible rookie season with some conference recognition.
The University of Saskatchewan Huskies outside hitter was named to the Canada West All-Rookie Team after leading his team to a 10-14 record, just outside of the playoffs.
The 6’6’’ Mortensen finished sixth in Canada West with 299 kills in 89 sets during his debut season. He was also sixth with 3.36 kills per set.
Mortensen also added 116 digs, 24 service aces, and 32 blocks.
