The Swift Current Kabos Broncos concluded the Saskatchewan Bantam AA Hockey League regular season in top spot in the South Division after a two-game trip up north over the weekend.
Saturday, the Broncos fired 31 shots on goal but lost 6-1 to the host Prince Albert Pirates. Hayden Wilm scored the only goal with assists from Daniel Ganert and Noah Wills.
Sunday, the Broncos tied the Saskatoon Stallions 4-4 after getting 45 saves from Justin Dueck.
Joe Arntsen and Wilm each finished with a goal and two assists. Cash Arntsen and Ganert both added a goal and an assist, including the game tying goal from Ganert with 3:42 remaining in regulation.
The Bantam Broncos finished in first in the South Division with a 23-5-1-2 record. They have a bye through the first round of the playoffs and will await the lowest remaining seed in the South Division best-of-three quarter-final series.
