The Swift Current Home Hardware Legionnaires led 3-1 after one period but allowed four of the final five goals in a 5-4 overtime loss to the visiting Prince Albert Mintos Sunday. Austin Lamotte scored 56 seconds into overtime to secure the comeback win for the Mintos.
Jacob Piller, Ty Muench, and Hunter Lamb all finished with a goal and an assist for the Legionnaires, who also received two assists from rookie Reed Jacobson. Mkyllan Couture also scored, while Lucas Ochitwa, Rin Beny, and Owen Ozar all added single helpers.
Cody Levesque took the overtime loss with 27 saves on 32 shots.
The Legionnaires fell to 13-10-0-2 in fifth spot in the Saskatchewan Midget AAA Hockey League, while the Mintos improved to 17-4-2-0.
The Legionnaires will visit the Notre Dame Argos on Tuesday.
