The Swift Current Tarpon Energy Broncos remain unbeaten after 11 games in the South East Atom AA Hockey League after a tie and a win on home ice against Weyburn over the weekend.
Saturday, the Atom Broncos tied Weyburn 4-4. Ryder Woods scored three goals and added one assist, while Parker Rondeau added a goal and four assists. Derrick Dulatre added two assists and Brady Simpson registered one assist. Calder Jones earned the tie in goal.
Sunday, the Broncos got a late goal from Ty Switzer to defeat the Wings 5-4. Rondeau scored twice and Dulatre added a goal and two assists. Aidan Robinson also scored, while Switzer, Jackson Tuplin, Woods, Nate Silbernagel, and Brady Simpson all added assists. Tate Leshures earned the win in goal.
The Broncos remain atop the South East Atom AA Hockey League standings with a 10-0-1 record.
The Atom Broncos will resume their league schedule in 2018 when they host the Moose Jaw Warriors on Jan. 13-14.
