Swift Current RCMP made a pair of drug related arrests earlier this week which resulted in 15 charges against two Swift Current men.
On June 27, the Swift Current Municipal RCMP, assisted by the Swift Current RCMP Police Dog Service, executed a Criminal Code search warrant at a residence located at 225 5th Ave. N.E. which resulted in the seizure of cocaine, marihuana, a 7.62 calibre SKS rifle, a sawed-off 12 gauge shotgun, ammunition, a can of bear spray and an undisclosed amount of cash. The street value of the drugs seized is approximately $1,000.
Randall Allan Alexander Fehr, 25, was arrested by RCMP outside of the residence and he made his first appearance in Swift Current Provincial Court on Wednesday to face charges of: possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine; two counts of unauthorized possession of a prohibited weapon; possession of a prohibited weapon knowing the possession was unauthorized; unsafe storage of firearms; and two counts of possession of weapon for a dangerous purpose.
Then on the afternoon of Wednesday, June 28, a second suspect, Alfred Crick age 21, was arrested at the same residence. An additional 30 grams of methamphetamine was seized following his arrest. The street value of the methamphetamine seized is approximately $3,000.
Crick made his first appearance in Swift Current Provincial court on June 29, and is charged with the following offences: possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine; possession for the purpose of trafficking methamphetamine; two counts of unauthorized possession of a prohibited weapon; possession of a prohibited weapon knowing possession unauthorized; unsafe storage of firearms; two counts of possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
