The Swift Current Full Line Ag Wildcats opened the Saskatchewan Female U18 AA Hockey League playoffs with a 2-0 win over the visiting Parkland Phoenix on Wednesday.
Karli Duncan stopped all 21 shots she faced to open the best-of-three series for the second seeded Wildcats.
Charli Chubaty and Olivia Dyrland scored with assists from Anaiah Stechyshyn, Paige Hawkins, and Serena Kochan.
The Wildcats will look to close out the series on Friday in Yorkton. Game three, if necessary, would be Sunday in Swift Current.
