The Swift Current Home Hardware Legionnaires defeated the host Notre Dame Hounds 7-3 on Thursday. They scored the opening four goals as they outshot the Hounds 49-22.
Mason Fauser had a goal and two assists, while Hunter Wilm registered three assists. Trae Peterson scored twice, Jaxson Squires had one goal and one assist, and Jake Hargave added two assists.
Kohen Ruedig, Kasey Gleim, and Kyler Bolokreli also scored. Porter Nickason added one assist. Josh Benjamin made 19 saves in the win.
Cole Fox took the loss with 42 saves for the Hounds
The Legionnaires moved into fourth spot in the Saskatchewan Male AAA Hockey League with a 25-13-4-0 record. They will conclude the regular season this weekend when they visit the Yorkton Maulers for two games.
