The Swift Current Home Hardware Legionnaires lost 3-0 to the Moose Jaw Warriors on Wednesday.
The Warriors led 1-0 for most of the game on a Maxx Fuessel goal in the first period. They added empty net goals from Hudson Sayers and Ryan Gibbs in the final minutes.
Cade Mitchell made 39 saves on 40 shots for the Legionnaires. Steven Wawryk made 28 saves in the shutout for the home team.
The Warriors sit second in the Saskatchewan Male AAA Hockey League with a 25-2-1-0 record, followed by the Legionnaires at 19-8-3-0.
The Legionnaires will host the Saskatoon Blazers on Saturday at 7:45 p.m. and Sunday at 1:45 p.m.
