Five Swift Current Judo Club members were in action at the 2025 Manitoba Open on Nov. 1-2.
Jack Bochek won gold with two wins in U14 Male Advanced -66KG.
Nora Thiessen won gold in U12 Female Group 1 with three wins. Karlee Rempel was fourth with three losses.
Kadence Rempel was third in U12 Female Group 2 with two losses.
Blake Rempel won bronze in the U18 Male -55KG division with two losses. He also finished fourth in the Senior Male Novice Division with four losses.
The next event for the Judo Sask Team is the Quebec Open on Nov. 8-9. Blake Rempel will represent Saskatchewan in Longueuil and at the Montreal Cadet Panamerican Cup the following weekend in Montreal.
