The Williamson family had a strong showing at the 60th Annual Bob Larson Memorial Indoor Rodeo in Val Marie on Sept. 19-20.
Mankota’s Kiera Williamson won Junior Girls Barrel Racing in 12.42 seconds for $378.
She also won Ladies Breakaway Roping in 2.9 seconds for $835.
Maple Creek’s Coy Cronkhite won Junior Steer Riding with 74 points for $432. Maple Creek’s Cecil Baynton tied for third with 70 points. Beechy’s Allee Kapeller was third in 13.34 seconds for $189.
Morse’s Tuftin McLeod was second in Tie Down Roping in 9.9 seconds for $730. Mankota’s Shawn Williamson was fourth in 11.5 seconds for $352. Shay Stewart (Carnduff) won the event in 10.1 seconds.
Chaplin’s Rhyker Vangen finished second in Novice Saddle Bronc with 65 points for $270. Eastend’s Joe Vansandt tied for third with 64 points.
Waldeck’s Tucker Danberg was second in Novice Bull Riding with 78 points for $297. Kage Roy (Harris) won the event with 80 points.
Tuftin McLeod and Braden Brost (Consul) were second in Team Roping in 4.6 seconds for $1,468. Maple Creek’s Dillan Kraft and Bayne Wilson were third in 6.7 seconds for $1,162. Jesse Popescul (Glentworth) and Consul’s Rylan Brost followed in a tie for fourth in 10.1 seconds for $703. Also tied for fourth were Lafleche’s Weston Packet and Jaxon Ward (Colgate).
Mankota’s April Williamson placed fifth in Ladies Barrel Racing in 12.06 seconds for $267. Gull Lake’s Harlyn Krasko was right behind her in sixth in 12.17 seconds for $148. Bailey McCannell (Brandon) won the event in 11.62 seconds.
The Canadian Cowboys Association Finals will take place on Oct. 23-26 in North Battleford.
