The Swift Current Innovation Credit Union Wildcats kept their season alive with a 2-0 win over the visiting Saskatoon Stars on Monday to even the Saskatchewan Female U18 AAA Hockey League semi-final series at one game apiece.
Ashley Vezeau made 24 saves in the shutout performance.
The Wildcats were outshot 9-5 in a scoreless first period. They turned things around in the second period with goals from Dior Stringer and Laynee Rondeau, while Vezeau made 11 saves at the other end.
Tarynn Sutter took the loss with 16 saves on 18 shots.
The Wildcats had lost game one 6-3 on Friday in Saskatoon. The third and deciding game will be Tuesday in Saskatoon.
