The Swift Current Comp. Junior Colts and Ardens Red basketball teams hosted their home tournaments over the weekend.
The Junior Colts finished with one win and two losses. They opened the tournament with an 81-58 win over the Moose Jaw AE Peacock Toilers. Kean Geronimo led the Colts with 17 points.
The Colts lost their second game 103-101 to the Regina Campbell Tartans. Juan Dungca led the way with 20 points in the loss.
The Junior Colts lost their final game 87-58 to the Regina Miller Marauders, who won the tournament with a 3-0 record. Alexander Fraser scored 15 points in the loss.
The Junior Ardens lost all three games, beginning with a 50-20 loss to the Campbell Tartans, led by six points from Hailey Langager and Jennifer Peters.
They lost 70-21 to Miller, when Langager scored five points. They also lost 67-21 to the Moose Jaw Central Cyclones, led by four points from Briley Pogorzelec.
