A pair of Swift Current soccer players will represent their province at the 2025 Canada Summer Games.
Both Navy Louma and Griffin Striker have been named to their respective 18-player rosters for the games, which will be held in St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador from August 8-25.
Louma has spent the past three seasons with the Swift Current Comp. Ardens and scored two goals in the bronze medal match at 5A SHSAA Provincials in October. She is a product of the Swift Current United Soccer Club and has most recently been playing with FC Regina.
Striker has also spent the past three seasons with the SCCHS Colts and helped them qualify for 5A Provincials this past season. Striker also came up through the Swift Current United Soccer Club and has more recently played for Forge FC in the Provincial Soccer League.
