The Swift Current Home Hardware Legionnaires added a road win on Wednesday when they defeated the Notre Dame Hounds 4-1.
Defenseman Jake Hargrave led the Legionnaires with one goal and two assists. Trae Peterson and Mason Fauser both added one goal and one assist. Riley Schmiess also scored. Fynn Harasymchuk and Will Kirwan added assists.
Cade Mitchell earned the win with 23 saves to improve to 9-2-0-0 on the season.
Steven Wawryk took the loss with 36 saves on 40 shots. Ryken Arran scored the only goal for the Hounds.
The Legionnaires improved to 12-3-0, while the Hounds fell to 3-14-1.
The Legionnaires will host the first-place Regina Pat Canadians on Sunday at 2 p.m. at the InnovationPlex.
