The Swift Current Comp. Senior Ardens volleyball team won a third straight tournament to open the season when they won all six matches in Weyburn.
The Ardens won four straight matches in the round robin with wins over Weyburn II (25-13, 25-15), Oxbow (25-9, 25-11), Estevan (25-10, 28-30), and Moose Jaw Central (25-16, 25-10).
The Ardens defeated the host Weyburn Eagles 25-15 and 25-14 in the semi-final. They added a win over Moose Jaw Vanier (25-17, 25-18) in the championship match.
The Ardens will be back in Regina on Oct. 4-5 for a tournament hosted by the Campbell Tartans.
