The Swift Current U13 Sonic completed an undefeated season with a provincial championship over the weekend.
The Sonic outscored their competition 85-7 during six wins at the Softball Saskatchewan U13 B Provincial Championship, culminating with a 7-4 win over the Parkland Predators in the championship game.
The Sonic opened the weekend with a 15-1 win over the Saskatoon Lasers and an 11-0 win over the Indian Head Angels on Friday. They added a 20-0 win over Weyburn and a 12-1 win over the Parkland Predators on Saturday to wrap up the round robin.
They opened the playoffs with a 12-0 win over the Neudorf Red Sox and then advanced to the gold medal game with an 8-1 victory over TCA Queens B.
The U13 Sonic finished the season 29-0 while outscoring their opponents 329-63.
