The Swift Current Broncos made a deal to add three future draft picks for an unsigned prospect on June 25.
The Broncos sent 2007-born prospect Levi Benson to the Kelowna Rockets in exchange for a second round pick in the 2025 WHL Prospects Draft, a third round selection in 2026 and a conditional sixth round pick in the 2028 draft.
Benson, from Chilliwack, B.C., was the Broncos’ sixth round selection, 118th overall, in 2022. Benson had a productive season with the Yale Hockey Academy U18 Prep team with 16 goals and 34 assists in 29 games.
