Kalan Lind had an impactful performance while helping Team White to a 4-2 victory at the Kubota CHL/NHL Top Prospects Game in Langley on Wednesday.

The Shaunavon product had several board-rattling hits, which eventually led to a third-period fight with Sudbury Wolves forward Alex Pharand. Lind finished the game with a plus-one rating and one shot on goal. He nearly scored when his backhanded attempt grazed the glove of Carson Bjarnason and then the cross bar before going out of play.

The 6’0’’ left wing was recently ranked 23rd amongst North American Skaters in the NHL Central Scouting Mid-Term Rankings.

Lind has 14 goals, 27 assists, and a plus-nine rating in 39 games with the Red Deer Rebels this season. He has points in his last six WHL games with five goals and six assists over that span. The Rebels are currently second in the Eastern Conference with a 31-9-1-3 record.
