The Swift Current W.W. Smith Wildcats secured three of four points from the Estevan Bearcats in the Saskatchewan Female U13 AA Hockey League over the weekend.
The U13 AA Wildcats doubled up the host Bearcats 4-2 on Saturday. Piper Arntsen, Ally Stusrud, Ellie Weinbender, and Kapri Darby all scored. Kansas Girodat, Deyus Getzinger, Avery Whitney, Kennedy Smith, and Laynee Rondeau all added assists. Georgia Haubrich earned the win in goal.
The two teams skated to a 6-6 tie on Sunday morning. Arntsen scored twice, while Getzinger and Darby each added a goal and an assist. Stusrud and Weinbender also scored. Whitney, Blakely Wallis, and Rondeau all added assists. Haubrich earned the tie in goal.
The Wildcats finished the year with a 6-2-4 record in second spot in the South Division.
