The Swift Current Comp. Senior Colts volleyball team won a fifth straight gold medal at the LeBoldus Invitational tournament in Regina over the weekend.
They came out of their pool ranked first with a 4-0 record on Friday with wins over Regina Miller, Birch Hills, Brandon Vincent Massey, and Regina Winston Knoll.
On Saturday, they won their quarter-final match against Estevan and their semi-final match against Vincent Massey.
In the gold medal match they came away with a two-set victory (25-20, 25-14) over Winkler Northlands Parkway to claim another tournament title.
The defending provincial champions will head to Medicine Hat next weekend for a tournament as they gear up to host 5A Provincials on November 18-19.
