The Swift Current Innovation Credit Union Wildcats lost game three of the best-of-five Saskatchewan Female U18 AAA Hockey League second round playoff series 4-0 to the host Regina Rebels.
The Wildcats now trail the series two games to one after league leading scorer Alexis Petford opened the game with three straight goals on Thursday. Nikita Schmidt also scored and Chloe Sorenson made 30 saves in the shutout. Petford now leads all playoff scorers with eight goals and 13 points in six games.
Karlee Lehner took the loss with 36 saves.
Game four will be Sunday at 7:45 p.m. at Fairview West Arena. The home team has won each of the first three games in the series.
