The Swift Current PureChem Broncos find themselves behind in their Saskatchewan U15 AA Hockey playoff series after a shutout loss on Friday.
Tyson Jackson stopped all 38 shots he faced as the Regina Aces defeated the host Broncos 4-0. Malaki Martin, Eli Johnson, Ryan Clark, and Roan Burgess scored for the Aces to open the best-of-three second-round playoff series.
The Broncos finished zero-for-five on the power play, while the Aces connected on two of four man-advantages dealt their way.
The U15 AA Broncos will play for their season on Sunday in Regina. Game three, if necessary, would be Monday back in Swift Current.
