Swift Current Innovation Credit Union Wildcats alumnus Amaya Giraudier has been named to the Atlantic University Sport All-Rookie Team after a standout rookie season.
The Assiniboia product finished second in AUS with a .926 save percentage and a 1.79 goals against average in 10 games during her rookie season with the St. Francis Xavier University X-Women.
Giraudier was a co-recipient of the SFU18AAAHL Brittony Chartier Top Goalie Award in 2019-20. She compiled a 35-18-0 record over four seasons with the Wildcats with a 2.16 GAA and .913 save percentage. She added a 2.15 GAA and a .925 save percentage in nine playoff outings.
The X-Women placed third in the AUS regular season with a 15-6-0 record. They are currently battling second-place St. Mary’s in the best-of-three semi-final series.
