The Swift Current 16U Black Junior Sundogs girls volleyball team placed fourth out of 36 teams at Sask Cup #1 in Warman over the weekend.
The SunDogs, coached by Darren Lehman and Shawn Fraser, won all three matches in pool play on Saturday, placing them first overall in their pool.
They went on to win their crossover match, which elevated the Sundogs Black team into Tier 1.
Sunday, the girls won their quarter final, pushing them into the top four. The team then narrowly dropped the semi-final match in close three sets and went on to play for bronze, ultimately dropping the final match, again in a tight three sets.
