A pair of Swift Current skaters were selected in the 2021 WHL Prospects Draft on Dec. 9.
Forward Hudson Darby was selected in the fifth round, 103rd overall, by the Portland Winterhawks. Darby has 16 points in 23 games with the Swift Current U18 AAA Legionnaires this season. He had 14 points in five games with the U15 AA Broncos last season.
Cutter Knight was drafted in the seventh round, 149th overall, by the Kelowna Rockets. The 6’1’’ defenseman has five points in 24 games with the Estevan U18 AAA Bears this season. He had five points in five games with the U15 AA Broncos last season.
