The Saskatchewan Women’s Curling Tour stopped in Swift Current over the weekend.
Only one local team took part in the SaskTel Curling Stadium Swift Current Women’s Spiel. Skip Kathy Hopfner was joined by third Connie Rayner, second Sally Wiens, and lead Melody Robertson. They lost 7-1 to Regina’s Jessica Mitchell, 6-2 to Saskatoon’s Sherry Just, and 8-1 to Biggar’s Brett Barber.
North Battleford’s Robyn Silvernagel defeated Regina’s Michelle Englot 8-3 in the championship game on Sunday.
