Carter Herman recently signed a WHL Standard Player Agreement with the Regina Pats. The 6’2’’ defenseman was a fourth round pick of the Pats in the 2020 Western Hockey League Bantam Draft.
Herman, 16, suited up in six games with the Swift Current U18 AAA Legionnaires last season. He posted 39 points in 27 games the previous campaign with the Bantam AA Broncos in his draft season prior to being selected 71st overall.
With a veteran returning cast on the Pats blueline, it is expected that Herman will suit up again this season for the Legionnaires. He has already skated in two exhibition games with the Pats this season, registering two penalty minutes and a plus-one rating with one shot on goal.
