Four businesses have been removed and 15 dates and times have been added to a list where possible COVID-19 exposure could potentially have occurred in Swift Current earlier this month.
The list of dates, which ranges from nine to 13 days ago, were announced by the Saskatchewan Health Authority in a Sunday afternoon public health alert.
An original advisory was issued back on July 14, but four businesses from that original list have now been removed. The following businesses have been deemed to no longer have had and increased risk of exposure:
· Pioneer Co-op Grocery store (Mall location), Swift Current, July 7, 5:20 to 5:50 p.m.
· Lac Pelletier Regional Park Golf Course clubhouse, July 5, 3:45 to 4 p.m.
· Great West Auto Electric Ltd (Bumper-to-Bumper), Swift Current, July 6 and July 7, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
· Cabri Co-op, July 9, 11 to 11:15 a.m.
Sunday’s list of additional businesses has been released by the SHA after further contact tracing, testing and investigation.
The updated advisory was issued to increase personal awareness for those who may have been on-site at several businesses in the Swift Current area, after individuals who attended these businesses tested positive for COVID-19. The expanded list includes:

· Rexall Pharmacy, Swift Current, July 7, multiple times
· Walmart, Swift Current, July 7, 6:30 p.m. to 6:45 p.m.
· Canadian Tire, Swift Current, July 7, 7:50 p.m. to 8 p.m.
· K Motel, Swift Current, July 8
· Canadian Tire, Swift Current, July 8, 12:30 p.m. to 1 p.m.
· Walmart, Swift Current, July 9 around 1 p.m.
· Walmart, Swift Current, July 9 around 5 p.m.

The SHA reminds the public that COVID-19 is in our province and we are in a pandemic globally. Protect yourself and your family at all times by following all public health orders and guidelines. Please ensure you do your part to stop the spread. Every Saskatchewan resident should be complying at all times with the public health measures in place, including guidelines around personal behaviour:
- Keep at least two meters away from others when in public and wear a mask when that is not possible;
- Limit gatherings to the allowable sizes specified in public health orders;
- Follow one way directions in stores;
- Wash your hands often with soap and water; if soap and water are not available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer;
- Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands.
“With an increase in cases, there have been reports of discrimination towards some Saskatchewan residents. This is unacceptable. Discrimination has no place in Saskatchewan. COVID-19 does not discriminate, as we have seen with cases across the province. Everyone must be individually responsible, by taking precautions and following public health measures. By having each Saskatchewan resident supporting each other with kindness, following the guidelines set out and working together, we can make a positive difference as a province and keep each other safe,” the advisory concluded.
