Three Swift Current baseball players helped Team Saskatchewan place fourth at the 2024 Baseball Canada Cup Championship in Fort McMurray, AB on August 7-11. Swift Current’s Aiden Kilshaw, Ethan Bailey, and Kyrell Adair were all part of the Saskatchewan 18U team that finished with a 2-4 record at the Canada Cup.
Peyton Kettles won gold at the 2024 Hlinka Gretzky Cup with Team Canada. The 6’5’’ blueliner helped Canada’s under-18 national team win all five games to capture the tournament title, culminating with a 2-1 win Czechia on August 10.
