Bantam Broncos win sixth straight

The Swift Current Pure Chem Broncos capped a busy weekend with their sixth straight victory in the Saskatchewan Bantam AA Hockey League.

Playing their sixth game in four days, the Broncos used a six-goal second period to defeat the visiting Melville Millionaires on Sunday evening.

Kalan Lind led the Broncos with two goals and two assists, followed by a goal and two assists each from Dayne Feicht and Daniel Ganert. McKale Paul, Carter Lamotte, and Ayden Lamarre each added a goal and an assist, while Kane Klassen, Riley Bowers, and Rhett Dekowny each added two assists.

Nolan Stevenson and Colton Leahy also scored. Colby Watson picked up the win with 20 saves.

The Broncos improved to 6-2-0, while Melville fell to 3-10-0.

The Broncos had been in Medicine Hat for a tournament where they finished with three wins and two losses, capped by a 5-4 win over Pursuit of Excellence Bantam Prep on Sunday.

The Broncos will return to league action on December 8 when they return the visit to Melville. They will host their annual home tournament next weekend.
