Durant medals twice at Special Olympics Canada Summer Games

Swift Current’s Katie Durant won a pair of bronze medals in the pool at the Special Olympics Canada 2018 Summer Games in Antiginosh, Nova Scotia on Wednesday.

Durant won bronze in the 100 Metre Breaststroke. Her preliminary time was 1:59.8 and her final time was 1:56.4.

She also won bronze in the 100 Metre Individual Medley with a preliminary time of 1:53.86 and a final time of 1:55.14.

Durant will be in the pool for the 200 Metre Backstroke, 50 Metre Breaststroke, and 200 Metre Breast Stroke on Thursday.

She will compete in the 200 Metre Freestyle on Friday and the relays on Saturday.
