The Swift Current Mosquito AAA 57’s swept a four-game weekend in the Regina Baseball League at home.
The 57’s hosted the Estevan Sluggers on Saturday and earned 8-7 and 12-2 wins.
They followed up on Sunday with 11-1 and 6-4 victories over the Regina Buffaloes.
The Mosquito 57’s will host a six-team home tournament next weekend. The host 57’s will meet the Saskatoon Cardinals on Friday at 4:30 p.m. at Sharon Hogg Field. They will also face White Butte on Friday at 7:15 p.m.
The Mosquito 57’s will conclude the round robin on Saturday at 3 p.m. against Strathmore. The Mosquito championship game is set for Sunday at 2 p.m.
