The Swift Current Broncos got goals from four different skaters and scored twice on four man-advantages to defeat the host Regina Pats 4-1 on Sunday.
One day after a 3-1 win over the Pats in Swift Current, Stuart Skinner came up big for the Broncos with 40 saves to improve to 6-2 since joining the team with a .932 save percentage and a 2.00 goals against average.
Beck Malenstyn, Matteo Gennaro, and Aleksi Heponiemi all scored for the Broncos before Cale Fleury replied for the Pats. Glenn Gawdin closed the scoring with his 40th goal of the season.
The Broncos finished the weekend with a 35-12-3-1 record in second spot in the WHL, seven points back of Moose Jaw with 21 games remaining in the regular season. They host the Prince George Cougars on Tuesday.
