The Swift Current Abbey Resources Broncos edged the visiting Regina Vics 4-3 in South Saskatchewan Midget AA Hockey League action Saturday.
Ryland Hornung led the Broncos with two goals and one assist, including the eventual game-winner with 4:15 remaining in regulation. Quinn Patenaude followed with a goal and an assist, while Levi Lamotte also scored.
Beau Larson, Hunter Johnson, Riley Skarton, and Brock Herter all added assists. Jacob Herman earned the win in goal.
The Broncos improved to 11-5-3-2, while the Vics dropped to 7-10-0-0. The two teams will rematch Sunday at 10:45 a.m. at Fairview West Arena.
