The host Swift Current Comp. Ardens had their best performance of the season in a 7-0 win over the Moose Jaw Central Cyclones Thursday.
An intensely focused Ardens squad controlled the balance of play and led 2-0 at halftime before breaking the game open with five second-half goals.
Calli Moreau-Simpson, Lauryn Hayes, and Ali Vance all found the back of the net twice, while Allison Wall added a goal and an assist. Jodi-Lynn Jacklin assisted on two goals, while Cassie Barber and Jessica Warren added single helpers. Jaden McKenzie earned the shutout in goal as the eight-time defending league champions improved to 4-0 in Moose Jaw League action.
The Ardens will be Moose Jaw for league games against Vanier and Central on Saturday.
