The Maple Leaf Junior Golf Tour made its final Saskatchewan stop of the season with the MJT Golf Sask OOM Championships at the Legends Golf Course in Warman on Sunday and Monday.
Swift Current’s Ethan Fizell tied for eighth in the 22-man Juvenile Boys Division.
Fizell, 15, was 10th after one day after an opening round 80 to sit nine shots off the lead. He trimmed one stroke for a 79 on day two to finish 12 shots back of the leaders.
Estevan’s Jayden Dudas (75-72-147) defeated Saskatoon’s Josh Nagy (73-74-147) in a second playoff hole to win the Juvenile Boys Division.
Maple Creek’s Ruben Cooper was also in Juvenile Boys action. He shot a 99 on day one but withdrew from the tournament prior to the second round.
