The Swift Current 57’s flexed their offensive muscles to move to 3-0 in the Western Major Baseball League with a 13-1 win over the visiting Melville Millionaires Sunday.
The 57’s crushed three home runs, including a grand slam from Blake Adams during a six-run fifth inning. The 57’s outhit Melville 12-4, added five stolen bases, including two from Riley Campbell, and took advantage of three Melville errors.

Matt Michalski threw seven scoreless innings, allowing only three hits, while striking out nine batters in the win.

Local Devon Schultz also added a scoreless relief appearance in his season debut.
They broke the game open in the second inning when Ben Andrews hit a three-run home run and Bodie Cooper followed with a solo blast.
The 57’s, who have outscored the opposition 20-4, will head to Yorktown for their first road game on Monday.
