Swift Current swimmers headed to Canada Games

Four Special Olympics Swift Current swimmers have been named to Team Sask for the upcoming 2025 Canada Summer Games.

Rahimay Priebe, Avery Underhill, Tate Zimmerman and Chayce Forster will all represent their province at the Games, which will be held in St. John’s in August. Swift Current’s Jackie Powell will be leading the team into the Games.

The four swimmers will compete in five races, the 50 Metre Freestyle, 50 Metre Backcrawl, 50 Metre Breaststroke, 100 Metre Freestyle, and the 100 Metre Backcrawl.

Priebe and Zimmerman previously attended the 2022 Games in Niagara, while Underhill and Forster will be attending their first national competition.
