The Home Hardware Legionnaires were eliminated from the Saskatchewan Male U18 AAA Hockey League playoffs on Friday.
The Legionnaires 6-2 to the host Moose Jaw Warriors in the fifth and deciding game of the semi-final series. The game was tied 2-2 after two periods before the Warriors scored four unanswered goals to complete the series comeback after the Legionnaires won the opening two games.
Sam Kirwan and Triston Mitchell-Mcelhone scored for the Legionnaires.
Swift Current Broncos prospect Brennan Brown led the Warriors with three points in the third period, including the game-winner and an insurance goals minutes later.
Berney Weston made 28 saves for the Legionnaires. Luke McKechnie made 27 saves on 29 shots for the Warriors, who will now face the Regina Pat Canadians in the championship series.
