Legionnaires and Warriors all even after four games

The host Swift Current Home Hardware Legionnaires were unable to close out their Saskatchewan Male U18 AAA Hockey League semi-final series on Wednesday in a 3-2 overtime loss to the Moose Jaw Warriors.

Swift Current Broncos draft pick Brennan Brown ended the game with a wraparound goal 11:49 into the second overtime period to tie the series at two games apiece.

Moose Jaw had led 2-0 on first-period goals from Brown and Kierin Osberg. The Legionnaires forced overtime with a Kasey Gleim shorthanded goal and a Carter Moen goal with 1:33 remaining in regulation.

Berney Weston made 53 saves for the Legionnaires. Luke McKechnie made 37 saves for the Warriors.

The fifth and deciding game will be Friday in Moose Jaw.
