The Swift Current Comp. Junior Colts Red basketball team placed second at the Kruppi Classic Tournament in Balgonie with a 2-1 record over the weekend.
The Colts won their opening game 82-58 over the Lumsden Devils. Alexander Fraser was named the Player of the Game.
They won the next game 62-53 over the Regina Winston Knoll Wolverines. Juan Dungca was named the Player of the Game.
The Colts dropped the final game 52-49 to the host Greenall Griffins to finish the season with a 14-10 record. The Colts trailed by 11 points with three minutes remaining. They got the deficit down to three points but ran out of time to complete the comeback. Connor Letkeman was named the Player of the Game.
