Swift Current’s Anthony Wilson will join his fourth Western Hockey League team after being traded from the Regina Pats to the Lethbridge Hurricanes on Tuesday.
Wilson, 19, has seven goals and four assists in 27 games with the Pats this season. The 5’10” forward has 67 points in 210 regular season games with the Victoria Royals, Brandon Wheat Kings, and Pats over four WHL seasons.
The Hurricanes are currently sixth in the Eastern Conference with a 20-14-1-1 record, 16 points ahead of the Pats (10-21-4-2).
The Pats acquired a fourth-round pick in the 2026 WHL Prospects Draft and a sixth-round pick in 2027 in exchange for the veteran forward.
The Hurricanes host the Moose Jaw Warriors tonight. They are in Swift Current to visit the Broncos on Friday.
