The Swift Current Comp. Senior Ardens won their second straight basketball tournament to open the season.
The Ardens won all three games to claim their six-team home tournament. They opened the tournament with an 89-22 win over the Weyburn Eagles on Friday. Sarah Neustaeter led the Ardens with 19 points, followed by 15 from Bree Pavely.
The Ardens added a 68-54 win over Yorkton, led by 20 points from Kylee Michaluk and 16 from Neustaeter.
The Ardens clinched gold with a 78-45 win over Estevan on Saturday evening. Pavely led the Ardens with 16 points, followed by 13 from Neustaeter.
The Ardens will open league action on Tuesday when they visit Lumsden.
