At 11:00 AM, Friday, November 15th, 2024, from Council Chambers, Swift Current Municipal Election Returning Officer Jackie Schlamp declared the results of the Municipal and School Board Elections that were held on Wednesday, November 13th, 2024, as official.
“There are legislated steps that municipalities must follow to confirm the results,” said Schlamp, “and with subsequent audit and confirmation processes, we can now declare these as official.”

“Now that we have the formalities taken care of and the results are official, we are happy to officially welcome Mayor Bridal back to his leadership role, and our newly elected City Council to the helm of the City of Swift Current,” said Jim Jones, the City’s Chief Administrative Officer. “We look forward to working together following their swearing-in.”
The City Council Swearing-In Ceremony will be held during the evening of Monday, November 18th at 6:30 PM in Council Chambers, and is open to the public. It will also be livestreamed with a link provided on the City’s social media channels.
