The Swift Current Comp. Ardens senior girls volleyball team won all six matches to win the Regina LeBoldus Tournament over the weekend.
The Ardens cruised to top spot in their round robin group with wins over the host Golden Suns (25-19, 25-17), Brandon’s Neelin High School (25-13, 25-21), and Regina Riffel (25-16, 25-17).
They defeated Regina Sheldon Williams (25-6, 25-10) in the quarter-final and then defeated Prince Albert Carlton (25-17, 23-25, 15-5) in the semi-final. The Ardens defeated Regina Riffel 25-10 and 25-15 in the championship match.
The Ardens’ Aleni Tsougrianis and Amryne Duncalfe were both named tournament all-stars.
The Ardens will host their home tournament this weekend.
