The Swift Current Broncos acquired defenseman Caleb Potter from the Seattle Thunderbirds on Monday.
The Broncos sent a conditional eighth-round pick in the 2026 WHL Prospects Draft in exchange for the 2007-born Regina product.
Potter had one assist in six games for the Thunderbirds last season after being drafted 104th overall in the 2022 draft. He spent the majority of last season with the Moose Jaw Warriors in the Saskatchewan Male U18 AAA Hockey League. He finished the regular season with 13 goals and 18 assists in 41 games. Potter added two points in four playoff outings.
The 5’11’’ blueliner had one goal and one assist in three preseason games with the Thunderbirds this season.
