Shaunavon’s Haley Glasrud won Ladies Barrel Racing in 15.14 seconds for $952.
Beechy’s Allee Kapeller won Junior Girls Barrel Racing in 15.43 seconds for $270. Swift Current’s Maci Martens was second in 15.76 seconds for $202. Hazenmore’s Tess Switzer placed third in 15.89 seconds for $135.
Leader’s Davis Young won Novice Bull Riding with 81 points for $270.
Maple Creek’s James Perrin tied for second in Saddle Bronc with 79 points on Bad Karma for $619. Maple Creek’s Cody Lane tied for fourth with 74 points on American Legend for $331. Cache Schellenberg (Melfort) won the event with 82 points on Delta Dawn.
Lucky Lake’s Sheridan Lillyman placed fourth in Ladies Breakaway Roping in 2.6 seconds for $567. Maple Creek’s Sara Beierbach was fifth in 3.3 seconds for $364. Beechy’s Charlee Kapeller was sixth in 3.6 seconds for $202. Lacey Jordison (Moose Jaw) won the event in 2.1 seconds.
Morse’s Tuftin McLeod placed fifth in Tie Down Roping in 10.8 seconds for $291. Tanner Lockie (Balgonie) topped the event in 8.8 seconds.
Waldeck’s Tyce Mcleod and Grady Quam (Crossfield, AB) placed fifth in Team Roping in 6.3 seconds for $664. Riley Hayes (Sylvania) and Garrett Brownlee (Moose Jaw) won the event in 5.1 seconds.
The Canadian Cowboys Association is in Manitoba for four events this weekend.
